Size is 3 inches by 4 inches

Materials:  Small amt of #10 thread, Size 6 steel hook

 

Angel's Head
Rnd 1: ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook to form ring. ch2, 8dc in ring, join.
Rnd 2: dc in same st as joining, dc in each dc, join.
Rnd 3: ch 2, dc in same st as joining, 2 dc in each dc around, join. Do not fasten off.

Dress:
Row 1: ch 2, 3 dc in same st, 4 dc in next st, turn. (8 dc)
Row 2-9: ch 2, dc in same st, dc across to last dc, 2dc in last dc, turn.
Row 10: ch 2, 2 dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, dc in next 18 dc, 2 dc in next dc, 3dc in last dc, turn.
Row 11: ch 2, 2 dc in same st, dc across to last stitch, 3 dc in last st. Fasten off.

Wings:
Right wing: - with wrong side facing
Row 1: Join with sl st around end of 2nd row of dress. ch 2, 2 dc in same sp, turn. (3 dc- ch2 counts as first dc)
Row 2: Ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next st, 2 dc in last st. turn (5 dc)
Row 3: Ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn. (7 dc)
Row 4: Ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in last st. Fasten off.

Left wing: - with right facing
Repeat instructions for right wing

Bookmark Chain:
Join with sl st in center st at top of angel's head. Ch 65. sl st in 5th chain from hook, sl st back along chain, sl st in starting st. Fasten off.

Tassel:
Around a 4" piece of cardboard wrap thread 20 or more times. Pull a loop through 1/2 way, pull through it's own loop and tighten. Cut other end on fold. Trim evenly and fluff with fingers.
