Country Rose Granny Square Designed by Erica Website:  Crochet Creations Materials: G/4mm hook rose, cream and dark blue worsted weight yarn

With rose, ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, (sc in ring, ch 1) 8 times, join with sl st to ch 1.
Round 2: (3hdc in ch 1 sp, sl st in sc) 8 times, join with sl st to top of 1^st hdc.
Round 3: Working behind round 2, (dc around next sc in round 1, ch 2) 8x, join with sl st to top of 1^st dc.
Round 4: (hdc, 2dc, hdc in ch 2 space, sl st in next dc) 8 times, join with sl st to top of 1^st dc.
Round 5: Working behind round 4, (ch 5, sc around next dc post of round 3) 7x, ch 5, sl st to top of next dc in round 3, finish off.
Round 6: Join cream into any ch5 space in round 5; ch 3, (2dc, ch 2, 3dc) in same ch 5 space; *ch 1, 3dc in next ch 5 space, ch1, (3dc, ch 2, 3dc in next ch 5 space. Repeat from * twice more. Ch 1, 3dc in last ch 5 space, join with sl st. to top of 1^st ch 3.
Round 7: Ch 4, *(3dc, ch 2, 3dc) in next ch 2 space. Ch 1, (3dc in next ch1 space, ch1) twice. Repeat from * twice more. (3dc, ch2 3dc) in next ch 2 space. Ch 1, 3dc in next ch1 space. Ch 1, 2dc in last ch 1 space, join with sl st to 3^rd ch of 1^st ch 4, and finish off.
Round 8: Join dark blue into any ch 2 corner space. Ch 3, 2dc in same space. Ch 1, *(3dc ch 2, 3dc) in next ch 2 space. (Ch 1, 3dc in next ch 1 space) 3 times, Ch1. Repeat from * twice more. (3dc, ch2, 3dc) in next ch 2 space. (Ch 1, 3dc in next ch 1 space) twice, ch 1, sl st to top of 1^st ch 3 and finish off. Weave in ends into back of square.
