Size:    Approx. 5¾ inches

Materials used: Golden yellow yarn (small amount, white, royal blue), Crochet hook size 3.50 mm

Center:   With yellow, ch 4, sl st to form a ring. Ch 3. 1st Rnd: 11 hdc in ring, sl st to top of ch 3. End off. Petals: With white,attach in top of ch-3 on first rnd. 1 sc in same space as joining *ch 5,sc in first ch from hook, hdc, dc, hdc,sc in each ch st. Sl st in base beside the beginning ch-5, sc in next hdc of previous rnd. Repeat * 11 times. 12 petals formed. (note: the petals should have a slight curve).

Working behind flower petals, sl st thru base of petal, ch 3, skip next petal, sc in base of next petal, continue working in this fashion, ending with 7 sc and 6 ch loops sl st tin ch-3 at beg. End off.

Attach blue in 1st ch-3 space, ch 2, 3 hdc, in loop, 4 hdc in each loop ending with 24 hdc. Sl st to 1st-hdc, ch 3.

*Yo, insert hook to next hdc and draw loop thruough (as to dc), yo, draw hook thru first 2 loops on hook, insert hook from back to front in tip of petal, yo thru all 3 loops, dc in next stitch , ch 1, repeat from *, ending with sl st in ch-3.

Ch 3, 1 dc in same space, * dc in next sp, 2 dc in next, repeat from*around end with sl st in ch-3.

Ch 3,(counts as 1st dc), *1 dc in next 2 sts, 3 hdc , 2 sc, 3 hdc, 3 dc , ch 2, 1 dc in same sp ( corner made) repeat from* ending with ch 2 sl st to ch-3.

Ch 3, * 1 dc in each st across to corner. In corner work( 2 dc, ch 3, 2dc) repeat from * ending off with sl st in ch-3.
