7" Square. [7 1/2" Square instructions are
listed in brackets were they differ]
This square is made up of alternating rows of puff
stitches. Its commonly used with larger puffs or popcorn stitches and known
as a honeycomb stitch. It makes a good texture for dishcloth patterns and lends
itself to variegated or ombre patterns as well as solid colors.
Note: I found that using a G hook with a heavy
worsted weight yarn made the square very thick and heavy. You may want to try using
a lighter weight yarn or try an H hook and work on only 24 stitches.
Materials: Worsted Weight yarn
Size G crochet Hook
Gauge: 4 sts = 1"
Puff Stitch: [YO insert hook into st, YO pull up loop, YO

To edge your square, work sc sts evenly around the square,
working 23 sc [25 for 7 1/2" square] sts across each side, top and bottom with 3 sc
