Pompoms
Designed by:  Janet Rehfeldt

7" Square.  [7 1/2" Square instructions are listed in brackets were they differ]

This square is made up of alternating rows of puff stitches.   It’s commonly used with larger puffs or popcorn stitches and known as a honeycomb stitch.  It makes a good texture for dishcloth patterns and lends itself to variegated or ombre patterns as well as solid colors.

Note:  I found that using a G hook with a heavy worsted weight yarn made the square very thick and heavy.  You may want to try using a lighter weight yarn or try an H hook and work on only 24 stitches.
